Welcome to Vagari’s 7th winter of sailing. We have put 8,000 miles under Vagari’s keel during those cruises but this year like last year won’t be a high mileage year. We just don’t have the lust for the long cruises that we did when we started cruising but we still enjoy living on board and sailing near our homeport. Welcome aboard! We hope you enjoy our blog. Your comments, questions and suggestions are appreciated and encouraged.

LAST DAY! We are currently underway crossing the Sea of Cortez to our homeport.

We left the Baja side at 2:45 AM by 8:30 AM we are over half way. Favorable wind direction but not enough wind for a sail only but with the motor on we have averaged 6.7 kts. Small seas clear sky.

The end of another season. Sad for sure but we also love our, "dirt dwelling" life which we are happily anticipating.

This year however, our SaddleBrooke days will start a little late. As soon as we get home we will visit our daughter in northern California to help her after the birth of her third child. We may be there several weeks.

We hope you have enjoyed this year's blog. Any suggestions you have will be appreciated.

We plan to cruise next winter and keep the blog going.
