Welcome to Vagari’s 7th winter of sailing. We have put 8,000 miles under Vagari’s keel during those cruises but this year like last year won’t be a high mileage year. We just don’t have the lust for the long cruises that we did when we started cruising but we still enjoy living on board and sailing near our homeport. Welcome aboard! We hope you enjoy our blog. Your comments, questions and suggestions are appreciated and encouraged.

From La Paz, Baja California South, Mexico

We left Mazatlan Saturday (4/8). We arrived Monday morning after a 250-mile mostly motorboat passage. Calm seas and winds. We traveled with two other sailboats. We are leaving this weekend for two weeks in the Islands north of La Paz. We will meet our friends Jean and Bob Ley in Puerto Escondido just south of Loreto on May 2nd.. Cruisers get together the first week of May for a festival and a general good time. Following that we will spend two more weeks moving north then crossing over to our homeport of San Carlos. We don’t expect to have Internet access until San Carlos.
